Vern Roether

Vernon has over 13 years experience working in architecture, development, and construction management in the U.S. and abroad. In New York, Vernon worked with architect & developer Cary Tamarkin. He then moved to Abu Dhabi, where he worked with Jacobs Engineering on the Abu Dhabi International Airport. Since 2016, Vernon has been leading architectural design and development projects with the Roether Development Group in San Diego.

Vernon holds both a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Arizona State University.


John Lee

John’s architectural experience has spanned from museums and theaters to unique residential projects. Most recently, John has designed and developed single and multi-family projects in the Phoenix area. Prior to moving back to the Valley of the Sun, John worked in New York City first as a design technology consultant and then as an architect with Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects. Past projects of note include the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City and the Goel Center for Theater and Dance at the Philips Exeter Academy. 

John is proud to have helped develop the next generation of architects as an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University as well as the Design School at Arizona State University. 

John earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, as well as his Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Building Energy from Arizona State University. He is a registered architect in the states of Arizona, Tennessee and New York. John is also a registered general contractor in Arizona.
